Questionnaire results

This response showed a teenage girl to be more ralatable in the film. Comments we recieved were that a female would be more vulnerable, therefore it would add to the suspense of the trailer. As our teaser trailer is a psycological horror, our target audience are teenagers.

This question presented a fairly even split in the response, however explicit violence is slightly preferred. We will therefore aim to have explicit voilence in our teaser trailer, if possible, but it won't be a huge drawback if we are unable to because a lot of people asked voted for suggested violence.

This result is reassuring as we had already decided that our psychological thriller would tackle the theme of claustrophobia, using a coffin setting.

The results show that the majority would feel more intrigued by the teaser trailer if the narrative was left unexplained, so we will reveal as little of it as possible.

Clearly, the results show that almost everyone agreed that diegetic sound heightens intensity. Therefore, we will use mostly diegetic sound in the more intense parts of our trailer and probably mostly non-diegetic in the calmer parts.
Handheld shots appear popular in action scenes, so we will aim to include some in our trailer. However, many people also said 'sometimes' they like them- presumably they don't like handheld shots that look bad, so we won't include ours if they aren't good.
